(a) The Mayor is hereby authorized to appoint a Clerk of the Mayor’s Court in accordance with Section 8(f)
of the Charter of the City of Grandview Heights.
(b) The Clerk of the Mayor’s Court is an officer whose duties shall be those as directed by the Mayor for the operation of such court including the collection and distribution of fines, forfeitures, costs and such other fees and expenses, the preparation and maintenance of court files and documents and correspondence with defendants and other court personnel.
(c) The Clerk of the Mayor’s Court shall have no interest in the prosecution or defense of any case before such Court and shall follow such rules of court as provided by ordinance and state law.
(d) The Clerk of Mayor’s Court shall be compensated at an hourly rate and shall not be compensated for more than 1560 hours per year.
