The Fire Division Physician shall be insured by the City against liability for any errors or omissions arising out of the performance of his/her duties, except for any claims and/or damages arising from any alleged act of malpractice which may be the result of his/her action or inaction in the performance of the above-described duties. Such physician shall be required to provide proof of his/her own malpractice coverage.
