123.01 APPOINTMENT; ORGANIZATION.

(a) Council shall be the appointing authority for the following positions in the Finance Department:

Director of Finance

Assistant Director of Finance

Finance Accounting Clerk

(b) The Council President shall have the authority to approve compensation, within the designated ranges in the salary ordinance, for all employees listed in subsection (a) hereof.

(c) The Director of Finance is responsible for the supervision and direction of the Assistant Director of Finance and any person employed as a Finance Accounting Clerk.
