Whoever violates any provision of this Building Code or valid order issued pursuant thereto, unless otherwise provided, shall be deemed guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this Building Code is committed, continues or permitted. Upon the conviction of any such violation such person shall be punishable by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). Upon conviction of a subsequent violation of the same provision within one year when the same is so specified in the complaint, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned in the county jail or workhouse for a period not to exceed sixty days or both.
