(a) "Recycling" means items collected for the purpose of recovering and reusing the marketable materials. Recycling includes but is not limited to corrugated cardboard, office paper, magazines and junk mail, newspaper, glass containers, steel containers, aluminum containers, designated plastic containers, yard waste and other items as may be specified by the Director of Public Service.
(b) "Residential unit" means the place of abode of a person or persons living separately or together as an independent family in a dwelling structure of 1-, 2-, or 3-units.
(c) "Trash" means all waste of any kind or type as is usually considered as such except it shall not include any material in the nature of earth, sand, brick, stone, plaster or other substance that may accumulate as a result of building operations or any trees or tree limbs or other shrubbery not suitable for placing in containers as provided for under this chapter or by regulation of the Director of Public Service.
(d) "Yard waste" means plant waste material, including grass and garden clippings, shrubbery and tree prunings, weeds, leaves, and other yard trimmings.
