§ 152.097 ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS SIDEWALKS
   The owner or occupant of any lot or premises, where any holes or loose planks or other defects are permitted or allowed to be and remain in and about the sidewalks in front of or adjacent to his, her, or their premises, as referred to in § 152.096 hereof, is hereby required to repair such defects and abate such nuisances without delay; and if any person shall recover any judgment against the village because of injury resulting from such defects or nuisance, the owner or occupant of the premises where such injury was sustained shall be liable in an action of debt, for the full amount of the damages and costs so covered against the village.
