No person shall operate or maintain in the village any automatic vending machine for the sale of candy, nuts, soft drinks, including coffee and milk, popcorn, sandwiches, or other foods, cigarettes, or gum without first having obtained a license for each such automatic vending machines as provided in this subchapter. Such license shall be renewed annually.
