The purpose of this subchapter is to provide minimum standards to safeguard life, health, property, and the public welfare by regulating and controlling the placement, size, quality of materials, construction, illumination, location, and maintenance of all signs and sign structures. Specific safety and structural requirements and administrative provisions related to sign erection and sign permits are contained in this Zoning Code and in the Ohio Basic Building Code.
