(A) The Building Inspector shall inspect or cause to be inspected any building or structure which he or she has reason to believe is existing in violation of any of the provisions of this subchapter or any other ordinance, resolution, rule, or regulation of the village.
(B) In the event that the Building Inspector finds that any building or structure is a dangerous building and that it is in such condition to make it dangerous to the health, morals, safety, or general welfare of the occupant, he or she shall order it to be vacated.
(C) In the event that the Building Inspector finds that any building or structure is a dangerous building and that it can be reasonably repaired so that it will no longer exist in violation of any of the provisions of this subchapter, he or she shall order it to be repaired.
(D) In the event that the Building Inspector finds that any building or structure is a dangerous building, and that the building cannot be repaired so that it will no longer exist in violation of any of the provisions of this subchapter, he or she shall order it to be demolished.
(E) If, in the opinion of the Building Inspector, after giving the order provided in division (C) above, the present condition of the premises and the type of repairs to be made are not such as to necessitate the immediate vacation of the building or structure, he or she may permit the building or structure to be occupied during the period of repair.
