§ 694.01 FALSE REPORTING.
   (a)   A person who intentionally makes a false report, including the commission of a crime or threat, or intentionally causes a false report, including the commission of a crime or threat, to be made to a city peace officer, police agency, 9-1-1 operator, or any other city employee or contractor or employee of a contractor who is authorized to receive such reports, knowing the report is false, commits a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 93 days or a fine of not more than $500, or both.
   (b)   The Court order a person convicted of the conduct described under division (a) above to pay to the city the costs of responding to the false report and/or threat, to include but not necessarily be limited to, the use of police or fire emergency response vehicles.
