§ 1460.05 MULTI-FAMILY DWELLINGS.
   In addition to the other requirements of this chapter, multi-family dwellings shall comply with the following:
   (a)   Identification. Multi-family dwellings shall be identified by one placard containing the building number and apartment numbers of each family dwelling in the building. The placard shall be a color which contrasts with the immediate background on which it is mounted. Multi-family dwellings requiring more than one placard are described in division (c) below.
   (b)   Location. The identification placard shall be at least seven feet above ground level, mounted flush on the building and facing the street on which the building fronts.
   (c)   Buildings with four or more family units. A building with four or more family units shall have two such placards placed at opposite corners of the building, which placards shall face the street on which the building fronts.
   (d)   Numbering. Whenever possible, buildings shall be numbered instead of lettered.
