The following information
be submitted as part of an application for permission to commence any type of construction or
within a
zone:
(a) The elevation in relation to mean sea level of the lowest supporting floor member, including the basement, of all structures;
(b) Where floodproofing will be employed, the elevation in relation to mean sea level to which a
will be floodproofed;
(c) Where floodproofing will be employed, a certificate from a registered professional engineer or architect that floodproofing criteria of this chapter will be met;
(d) Where it can be determined that
or construction is proposed within zones A1-30 on the FIRM or the regulatory
, certification as required by this chapter must be provided;
(e) A description of the extent to which any watercourse will be altered or relocated as a result of proposed
or construction;
(f) Proof of
permission from appropriate local,
and federal agencies as required by § 1440.05, including a flood plain permit approval, or a letter from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, claiming no authority;
(g) Base flood elevation data where the proposed
or construction is subject to Public Act 288 of 1967, being M.C.L.A. §§ 560.101 through 560.293, as amended, or greater than five acres in size; and
(h) Any additional information which
be reasonably necessary to determine compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
