§ 610.06 PROHIBITED ANIMALS.
   (a)   No shall bring into, keep, maintain, offer for sale or barter, in the city, except if available for purchase in any licensed pet store, any of the following:
      (1)   Any poisonous or venomous biting or injecting species of amphibian, arachnid or reptile, including snakes;
      (2)   Any snake not indigenous to this state;
      (3)   Any bees or beehive. Any beehive used or occupied by bees is hereby declared to be a nuisance, and it shall be unlawful to keep or maintain any such hive in the city;
      (4)   Any , as defined in § 610.02, other than and , and any or domestic fowl, other than household pets such as canaries and parakeets;
      (5)   Any ;
      (6)   Nonhuman primates, including, but not limited to, commonly known as monkeys, chimpanzees, orangutans, gorillas, gibbons, apes, baboons, marmosets, tamarins, lemurs, lorises and galagos; or
      (7)   Any cattle, horses, sheep, goats or other not already specified.
   (b)   This section shall not prohibit a circus or other entertainment organization, or an educational, scientific or medical institution, which has obtained any required permits, from keeping such where the same are securely and humanely confined.
