5-1-9:   OBSTRUCTING POLICE, AIDING IN ESCAPE PROHIBITED:
It shall be unlawful for any person in the City to resist or obstruct any member of the police force in the discharge of his duty or to endeavor to do so, in any manner, assist any person in the custody of any member of the Police Department to escape or to attempt to escape from such custody or to attempt to rescue any such person in custody.
