648.09   MINORS CURFEW.
   (a)   No minor under 18 years of age shall remain upon any public highway, street, alley, building or railroad property, or loiter about public parking lots, buildings or other public places in the Village, after 10:00 p.m. and before 5:30 a.m. of the following day during the regular public school year, except for Friday and Saturday nights and nights before legal holidays. During the regular public school summer vacation, and on Friday and Saturday nights and nights before legal holidays during the school year, the prohibited hours set forth in this division shall be after 11:00 p.m. and before 5:30 a.m. of the following day.
   (b)   No parent, guardian or other person having legal custody of a minor under 18 years of age shall permit such minor to remain upon any public highway, street, alley, building or railroad property, or to loiter about public parking lots, buildings or other public places in the Village, after 10:00 p.m. and before 5:30 a.m. of the following day during the regular public school year, except for Friday and Saturday nights and nights before legal holidays. During the regular public school summer vacation, and on Friday and Saturday nights and nights before legal holidays during the school year, the prohibited hours set forth in this division shall be after 11:00 p.m. and before 5:30 a.m. of the following day.
   (c)   (1)   This section shall no apply to any minor accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult person authorized by such parent or guardian to have custody of such minor.
      (2)   This division shall not apply to a minor attending any regularly- scheduled school activity or a social or athletic event organized and supervised by any established public church or civic organization for the youth of the community. If such event lasts to or after the hours set forth herein the minor shall have a reasonable length of time after the conclusion thereof in which to return home.
      (3)   This section shall not apply to any minor engaged in lawful employment requiring him or her to be upon a street, alley, common, public highway, railroad property or other public place during such prohibited hours in the proper discharge of his or her duties while so employed.
   (d)   Any minor under 18 years of age who violates any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided by the Ohio Juvenile Code.
   (e)   Any adult who violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
