612.04 CONSUMPTION IN OR ON MOTOR VEHICLES AND MOTORIZED VEHICLES.

(a) No person shall consume any beer or intoxicating liquor in a motor vehicle or while operating or occupying a motorized vehicle. This section does not apply to persons described in Section 612.07(d).

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
