244.02 RESPONSIBILITY RE FIRES.

It is hereby made the special duty of the Chief of Police and all other members of the Police Department to respond to all fire alarms, to assist the Volunteer Fire Department in the protection of life and property of the residents of the Village and the property of the Volunteer Fire Department, and to control, regulate and maintain order at and in the vicinity of a fire.
