Section 12. Conflict of Interest

To the extent provided by general law, no elected official, member of a board or commission or employee of the Village shall, directly or indirectly, be interested in the profits or emoluments of any contract, work or service with or for the Village. Council shall, by ordinance, establish rules and regulations regarding the prohibition of conflict of interest. This section shall be in effect by January 1, 1973.
