No vehicle shall be turned so as to proceed in the opposite direction, except at a street intersection. No vehicle shall be turned so as to proceed in the opposite direction at any intersection where a sign is posted indicating that U-turns are prohibited, or anywhere on that portion of State Highway 47 (also known as Lake Avenue) or U.S. Highway 30 which lies within the corporate limits.
