§ 150.058 INFORMATION IN PLANS; PREPARATION.
   (A)   Plans and details shall be drawn to scale upon substantial paper or cloth and shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the nature and extent of the work proposed, the size and shape of the rooms, the materials used, and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of this chapter and all relevant laws, rules, and regulations. The first sheet of each set of plans shall give the exact location of the work to be done and the name and address of the owner and the name and address and seal or stamp, if any, of the person who prepared the plans and specifications. Plans shall include a plot plan showing the location of the proposed building and of every existing building on the property.

   (B)   (1)   (a)   All plans and specifications submitted in connection with the application for a permit shall be prepared and stamped by architects licensed by the state. Any plans and specifications prepared by a professional engineer registered in the state and submitted in conjunction with the architect's drawings, shall be sealed with the engineer's seal. Periodic observation of construction of the buildings or structures to which the plans and specifications pertain shall be performed by the licensed architects and registered professional engineers.
         (b)   Plans need not be signed and sealed by an architect or engineer if exempt as described under the Engineers and Architects Act of the state.
      (2)   No provision herein shall operate to restrict or extend the practice of a licensed architect or a registered professional engineer.
      (3)   Applications for permits under these exceptions shall be processed as are all other applications, and permits shall be issued only if the plans and specifications are complete and in accordance with this chapter.
