§ 130.21 PROHIBITED FIREWORKS.
   (A)   Generally. It shall be unlawful for any person to ignite or cause to be exploded fireworks or firecrackers of any description whatsoever, except as defined and permitted under the statutes of the state.
   (B)   Exceptions. The provisions of this section shall not apply to any fireworks to be used for the purpose of public exhibitions or display under authorization of the governing body or to fireworks furnished for agricultural purposes pursuant to written authorization from the state's Fire Marshal.
   (C)   Penalty. Any person who violates this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in § 130.99(A).
