(A) Permitted days and hours. A person commits the offense of discharging fireworks if he or she discharges fireworks except during the period beginning at 12:00 noon on June 25 and ending July 4 at 11:59 p.m. of each year. Fireworks may be discharged only during the period of time between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. on June 25 through and including July 3; and between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on July 4.
(B) Prohibited locations. It shall further be unlawful to discharge fireworks within 100 feet of a fireworks stand. In addition it shall be unlawful to discharge fireworks:
(1) In or on Lake Helen, the area defined as south and east of the Nebraska Public Power District Canal, north of the Lake Helen Dam, and west of Lake Avenue; and
(2) In the fire limits as described in § 91.23.
(C) Penalty. Any person who violates this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in § 130.99(A).
