§ 91.020 ENFORCEMENT.
   The Department, each agent or deputy thereof who is assigned to duties which include the enforcement of animal regulation laws, and any peace officer, are responsible for enforcing the provisions of this chapter and other provisions of state law which they have a duty to enforce. Each of the individuals referred to in division (A)(1) above shall have the power to make arrests for violations of those provisions of this chapter and of state law which he or she has a duty to enforce, and to issue citations for such violations. In the enforcement of any provisions of this chapter, any animal control officer, police officer, or authorized agent or deputy may enter the premises of any person to take possession of any animal in violation of this chapter.
