To provide and protect areas for single-family neighborhoods, while permitting the limited establishment of ancillary uses to serve the requirements of families. The objective in establishing the Rural Residential Zone is to provide a residential environment within the town which is characterized by smaller lots and a somewhat denser residential environment than is characteristic of the other residential zones in the town. Nevertheless, this zone is characterized by spacious yards and other residential amenities adequate to maintain desirable residential conditions.
