(A) When building a new residential home, the builder must obtain an express building permit and express business license. The express building permit and business license will cover all contractors except: electrical, plumbing, and heating and air conditioning contractors, these trades would be required to obtain individual permits and business licenses. This requirement would apply to the homeowner if they are acting as the builder.
(B) All contractors and subcontractors must comply with Federal, state and locals laws regarding license and registration requirements.
