§ 33.058 DUTIES OF ASSISTANT CHIEF; CHAIN-OF-COMMAND.
   (A)   In the absence of the Chief, it shall be the duty of the Assistant Chief to take command and assume control of the operations of the Fire Department.
   (B)   The chain-of-command of the Fire Department shall be as follows:
      (1)   The Council assembled;
      (2)   The Mayor (Chief Executive Officer);
      (3)   The City Administrator (Chief Administrative Officer);
      (4)   The Fire Chief;
      (5)   Assistant Fire Chief;
      (6)   Command officers (captains, lieutenants and above);
      (7)   Supervisory personnel (engineers); and
      (8)   Firefighters.
