§ 33.027 POWER TO ARREST.
   Every police officer, when required by state statute or ordinance of the city, shall have the power and the duty to arrest any person, who, within the corporate limits of the city and its police jurisdiction, shall be guilty of, or shall be engaged in, any conduct which is in violation of any state law or municipal ordinance.
