(A) Each police officer shall be sworn in and thereupon shall be invested with all the powers of police officers as established by S.C. Code § 5-7-110, as amended, within the corporate limits of the city and its jurisdiction.
(B) Each police officer shall also have the power to carry out all duties assigned to the officer by statute, ordinance, resolution, directive, rule or regulation as is necessary, specifically or by implication.
