The Fire Chief shall have the power to condemn, as unsafe, any building which constitutes a fire hazard. The Fire Chief shall also have the power to require that the owner or occupant of any unsafe building begin work to render the same safe or remove it within five working days after notice to that effect has been sent by the Fire Chief to the owner or occupant. The work will continue until the buildings have been rendered safe or removed.
