§ 36.58 NEGLECT OR REFUSAL OF JUROR TO APPEAR IN OBEDIENCE TO VENIRE.
   If any juror duly summoned shall neglect or refuse to appear in obedience to any venire issued by the Municipal Court, and shall not, within 48 hours, render to the judge holding the court and issuing the venire a sufficient reason for the delinquency, the juror shall be punished as for contempt. A failure to pay forthwith the fine so assessed shall constitute a contempt of court and be punished accordingly.
