§ 36.30 SUBPOENA OF WITNESSES.
   The judges of the Municipal Court, on the application of any party to a cause pending before the judges, shall issue a subpoena citing any person whose testimony may be required in the cause to appear before the judge at a certain time and place, to give evidence. The subpoena shall be served personally at least one day before the attendance is required. If the person shall neglect or refuse to attend, the judge may order the witness to be brought before the court or, if any witness attending shall refuse to give evidence, without good cause shown, the judge may commit the witness to jail for not longer than 24 hours.
