(A) Any damage to a meter resulting from any cause whatsoever, except from normal wear, may be repaired by the city’s authorized representative and the expense thereof shall be charged to the owner of the premise and be included in the next regular service bill. It shall be the duty of the occupant of every metered premise to keep the meter unobstructed from sight for purposes of reading and within easy access for purposes of inspection, repair or maintenance.
(B) Any person who shall remove, change, alter, willfully damage, tamper with or remove seals may be subject to charges being filed against him or her and the discontinuance of service to the premises.
