§ 110.08 COMPLIANCE CHECKS AND INSPECTIONS.
   All licensed premises shall be open to inspection by local law enforcement or other authorized city tobacco compliance officers during regular business hours. Not less than annually compliance checks shall be conducted of licensed business establishments engaging persons over the age 15, but less than 18, years under the supervision and direction of local law enforcement officers or compliance officers. The minors shall have the written consent of their custodial parent or guardian. Compliance checks shall be conducted under the direction of the City Administrator or his or her designated representative and in accordance with policies and procedures as prescribed by the City Administrator. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit checks authorized by state or federal law for educational, research or training purposes, or required for the enforcement of a particular state or federal law.
