§ 154.212 PERMITTED USES.
   The following signs are permitted in the B-1, B-2 and I-1 Districts.
   (A)   Signs placed on the exterior walls of buildings shall not extend more than 18 inches from a building’s wall surface, shall not exceed 250 square feet in area for any one premises and shall not exceed 30 feet in height above the mean centerline street grade.
   (B)   Ground signs shall not exceed 30 feet in height above the mean centerline street grade, shall meet all yard requirements for the district in which it is located, shall not exceed 100 square feet on one side nor 200 square feet on all sides for any one premises.
   (C)   Roof signs shall not exceed ten feet in height above the roof, shall meet all the yard and height requirements for the district in which it is located, shall not exceed 300 square feet on all sides for any one premises.
   (D)   Window signs shall be placed only on the inside of commercial buildings.
   (E)   Combination of any of the above signs shall meet all the requirements for the individual sign.
   (F)   Off-premises advertising signs (billboards) shall only be permitted in the B-1, B-2 or I-1 Districts and shall be spaced no closer than 300 feet. These signs shall not exceed 55 feet in length, nor 750 square feet in total area. Billboards shall meet all setback requirements and shall not be located within 100 feet of any residential zone, church, school or designated recreation area.
