The following information is required to be shown on, or to accompany, all preliminary plats:
(A) Location map showing the proposed plat’s location in relationship to the corporate limits and an accompanying legal description;
(B) Site map showing the area of the proposed plat, including land within 300 feet of its boundary;
(C) Existing and proposed zoning;
(D) Name of the proposed subdivision, approximate total acreage and date of plan preparation;
(E) Names and addresses of the owner, subdivider/developer, surveyor and designer;
(F) Proposed name for plat with no duplication of or similarity to the name of any plat recorded so far in the county; and
(G) Maps or sketches at a scale of not less than one inch to 100 feet showing the following:
(1) Exterior boundary survey of the proposed subdivision, including measured distances and angles, which shall close by latitude and departure with an error of closure not to exceed one foot in 5,000 feet;
(2) Graphic scale and north point;
(3) Within the proposed subdivision and within 300 feet of its boundary, the locations, names, rights-of-way, widths and types of surfacing of all existing streets and other public ways; location and width of all existing railroad and utility right-of-way; location and size of all existing parks, playgrounds and other public open spaces; and location and identification of all existing public buildings;
(4) Proposed arrangement, dimension and proposed use of all lots, blocks and parcels to be platted within the subdivision, including proposed sites if any, for shopping centers, churches, schools, cemeteries, industrial and other non-residential uses;
(5) Proposed locations, names and right-of-way widths of all new public or private streets, roads and alleys, together with location and width of all proposed utility and drainage easements;
(6) Proposed location, size and future ownership of all parks or playgrounds to be reserved for public use;
(7) Proposed location of all pedestrian ways, sidewalks and trails as they relate to existing and proposed systems and end points outside the proposed subdivision; and
(8) A topographic map or survey of the proposed subdivision showing contours with an interval of not less than ten feet. USGS datum shall be used and spot elevations shall be shown.
