For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GARAGE SALE. Any display and sale of personal property conducted on a premises located in any residential zoned district or any other residential district that may be created in the future. A GARAGE SALE does not require a business license or make taxable sales, leases or services.
RUMMAGE SALES. Any sale of new, used or secondhand goods or merchandise from a dwelling or residentially zoned area where the general public is invited to purchase, trade or bargain for such goods or merchandise.
YARD SALES. Any sale of new, used or secondhand goods or merchandise from the personal property or residential zoned area where the sale takes place in the yard area of the residential zoned property.
