§ 110.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this business regulations title, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   COIN AMUSEMENT. Any mechanical device which, upon the insertion of a coin, token or slug, may be operated for entertainment or amusement.
   DANCE, PUBLIC. Any dance in which the public may participate, whether an admission fee is charged or not.
   DANCING PLACE, PUBLIC. Any place open to public patronage in which dancing, where the public may participate, is carried on whether an admission fee is charged or not.
   GAME OF SKILL. Any mechanical device which, upon the insertion of a coin, token or slug, may be operated to obtain a score or other indication.
   MUSIC MACHINE. Any mechanical device which, upon the insertion of a coin, token or slug, may be operated to emit music or sound.
   PEDDLER. Any person with no fixed place of business who goes from house-to-house, from place-to-place or from street-to-street, carrying or transporting any goods, wares or merchandise and selling or offering or exposing for sale those goods, wares or merchandise.
   SOLICITOR. Any person who goes from house-to-house, from place-to-place or from street-to-street soliciting or attempting to take orders for any goods, wares or merchandise for future delivery.
   TOBACCO. Any tobacco in any form, including cigarettes and cigars, and bagged, canned or packaged tobacco.
   TRANSIENT MERCHANT. Any person who engages temporarily in the business of selling and delivering any goods, wares or merchandise within the city and who, in furtherance of such purpose, hires, leases, uses or occupies any building, structure, vacant lot or vehicle.
