Although recognizing and appreciating the fact that members of the boards are generally citizen volunteers, the City Council deems it essential that members of all city boards attend meetings regularly for the prompt and efficient transaction of city affairs. The staff liaison of each board shall maintain attendance records, including attendance at regular meetings, work sessions and all special called meetings.
