(A) Entertainment covered in this section and housed under canvas, tenting, or temporary structure shall obtain written permission from the Fire Chief that the structure meets the safety standards required by other places of public assembly.
(B) Evidence of adequate insurance to hold the city and its taxpayers harmless from claims arising out of the operation of the carnival as determined by the City Manager in consultation with the City Attorney and insurance carrier. Applicant must provide proof of general liability insurance coverage of at least $5,000,000 in either general liability insurance or umbrella insurance coverage to be determined at the discretion of the City Manager and shall be in place at the time such structure is to be occupied or such place of assembly is established for use by the public. The city shall be added as an additional insured on said policy for any and all relevant times to the operation and/or carnival presence.
