The city hereby adopts the Texas Health and Safety Code, Title 10, Health and Safety of Animals, Chapter 826. Rabies, known as the Rabies Control Act of 1981 and as hereafter amended and as authorized by Texas Health and Safety Code § 826.013 as it relates to standards for rabies control. The City also hereby adopts the Texas Administrative Code, Title 25, Health Services, Part 1, Department of State Health Services, Chapter 169, Zoonosis Control, Subchapter A, Rabies Control and Eradication and as hereafter amended.
