§ 150.05 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE ADOPTED.
   The 2015 edition of the International Residential Code ("IRC") and its updates and supplements are hereby adopted by the city for regulating and governing the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, location, removal and demolition of detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings (townhouses) not more than three stories in height with separate means of egress. This adoption of the 2015 edition of the IRC and its amendments is declared effective immediately upon receipt by the city and filing with the City Secretary of one copy of the IRC. This adoption also adopts any uniform amendment recommendations promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)'s Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) to the IRC and found at (www.nctcog.org). The city also adopts the International Code Council (ICC) and the National Storm Shelter Association's (NSSA) ICC 500-2014 standard for the design and construction of storm shelters, as referenced in the 2015 International Residential Code.

§ 150.06 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE ADOPTED.
   The 2015 edition of the International Property Maintenance Code ("IPMC") and its updates and supplements are hereby adopted by the city for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use. This adoption of the 2015 edition of the IPMC and its amendments is declared effective immediately upon receipt by the city and filing with the City Secretary of one copy of the IPMC. This adoption also adopts any uniform amendment recommendations promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)'s Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) to the IPMC and found at (www.nctcog.org).

§ 150.07 INTERNATIONAL FUEL AND GAS CODE ADOPTED.
   The 2015 edition of the International Fuel and Gas Code ("IFGC") and its updates and supplements are hereby adopted by the city for regulating and governing fuel gas systems and gas-fired appliances. This adoption of the 2015 edition of the IFGC and its amendments is declared effective immediately upon receipt by the city and filing with the City Secretary of one copy of the IFGC. This adoption also adopts any uniform amendment recommendations promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)'s Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) to the IFGC and found at (www.nctcog.org).

§ 150.08 INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE ADOPTED.
   The 2015 edition of the International Fire Code ("IFC") and its updates and supplements are hereby adopted by the city for regulating and governing fire prevention and suppression in buildings and structures of the city. This adoption of the 2015 edition of the IFC and its amendments is declared effective immediately upon receipt by the city and the filing with the City Secretary of one copy of the IFC. This adoption also adopts any uniform amendment recommendations promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)'s Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) to the IFC and found at (www.nctcog.org).

§ 150.09 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE ADOPTED.
   The 2014 edition of the National Electric Code ("NEC") (developed and published by the National Fire Protection Association ("NFPA")) and its updates and supplements are hereby adopted by the city establishing standards for safe electrical installations for buildings and structures within the city. This adoption of the 2014 edition of the NEC and its amendments is declared effective immediately upon receipt by the city and filing with the City Secretary of one copy of the NEC. This adoption also ratifies the State of Texas' adoption of the 2014 NEC effective September 14, 2016. This adoption also adopts any uniform amendment recommendations promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)'s Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) to the NEC and found at (www.nctcog.org).

§ 150.10 INTERNATIONAL EXISTING BUILDING CODE ADOPTED.
   The 2015 edition of the International Existing Building Code ("IEBC") and its updates and supplements are hereby adopted by the city for regulating and governing the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition and relocation of existing buildings, including historic buildings. This adoption of the 2015 edition of the IEBC and its amendments is declared effective immediately upon receipt by the city and filing with the City Secretary of one copy of the IEBC. This adoption also adopts any uniform amendment recommendations promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)'s Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) to the IEBC and found at (www.nctcog.org).

§ 150.11 INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL PERFORMANCE CODE ADOPTED.
   The 2015 edition of the International Code Council Performance Code for Buildings and Facilities ("ICCPC") and its updates and supplements are hereby adopted by the city for regulating and governing the performance-based design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of building and/or fire protection systems as herein provided. This adoption of the 2015 edition of the ICCPC and its amendments is declared effective immediately upon receipt by the city and filing with the City Secretary of one copy of the ICCPC. This adoption also adopts any uniform amendment recommendations promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)'s Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) to the ICCPC and found at (www.nctcog.org).
