§ 35.06 OATH AND ANTI-BRIBERY STATEMENT.
   (A)   Each judge of the municipal court and each prosecutor of the municipal court must file with the City Secretary the following statement sworn, in writing, and under notary seal, before taking the oath of office required by the Texas Constitution, Article XVI, Section 1(c), as follows:
      I,                                         , do solemnly swear (or affirm), that I have not directly or indirectly paid, offered, promised to pay, contributed, or promised to contribute any money or thing of value, or promised any public office or employment, as a reward to secure my appointment or confirmation thereof so help me God.
   (B)   Upon the filing of the anti-bribery statement, each judge of the Municipal Court and each prosecutor of the Municipal Court shall take the oath of office required by Texas Constitution, Article XVI, Section 1(a), as follows:
      I,                                               , do solemnly swear (or affirm), that I will faithfully execute the duties of the office of ("Municipal Court Judge " or "Prosecuting Attorney") for the State of Texas, and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States and the State of Texas, so help me God.
