For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SELF-CLOSING AND SELF-LATCHING DEVICE. A device that causes a gate to automatically dose without human or electrical power after it has been opened and to automatically latch without human or electrical power when the gate closes.
SWIMMING POOL. Any structure intended for swimming or recreational bathing that contains water over 24 inches deep. This includes in-ground, aboveground and on-ground swimming pools, fixed-in-place wading pools, hot tubs and spa.
