§ 131.02 PROHIBITION AGAINST DISCHARGING FIREARMS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge a firearm in the city, except as follows:
   (A)   When discharged by a peace officer in the discharge of his or her duties;
   (B)   When discharged by a city employee in the discharge of his or her duties as to animal control;
   (C)   When discharged by any person in the lawful protection of life and/or property; and
   (D)   When discharged by a licensed hunter, using a shotgun in a non-urban area of the city during a hunting season created by the state for fowl; the hunter must be using shot (not slugs) and must be in the act of hunting the fowl for which the season was created.
