§ 93.08 DISCHARGING FIREWORKS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot, discharge, fire or in any way set off or cause to be set off, fireworks of any type, including but not limited to firecrackers, Roman candles, torpedoes, sky rockets or other forms of fireworks commonly used for pleasure or celebrations, within the city limits of the city without a valid permit.
   (B)   This subchapter shall not be construed to prohibit the use of fireworks by railroads or transportation for signal or illumination or the sale or use of blank cartridges for signal or ceremonial purposes in athletic, theatrical, military or civic events.
