Holding tanks may be allowed for situations involving low water use, impacted soils, or other factors as deemed appropriate by the city. Holding tanks are considered a secondary option. Certification is required by a licensed SSTS professional that holding tank(s) are the best option for a specific property. Person(s) applying for a permit must supply a pumping agreement or contract with a licensed maintainer.
