A. Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provision of this chapter by doing any act prohibited or declared to be unlawful thereby or declared to be a nuisance, an offense or misdemeanor thereby, or who fails to do any act required by any such provisions, or who fails to do any act when any such provision declares such failure to be unlawful or to be an offense or misdemeanor, or who violates or fails or refuses to carry out any lawful order of the City made pursuant to provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be guilty of an offense punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code and as set forth in the Municipal bond schedule adopted by the Governing Body as provided in section 1-11-19 of this Code. Each day upon which a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
B. No penalty imposed by and pursuant to subsection A of this section shall interfere with the right of the City also to apply to the proper courts of the State for an injunction, writ of mandamus or other appropriate action against such person or entity in violation of this chapter.
