8-2-4: CAMPING:
   A.   Consent Required: The use of the parks and public areas within the corporate limits of the city for overnight camping is prohibited without the consent of the city manager or his or her designee. (2002 Code § 12.20.030; amd. 2013 Code)
   B.   Violation; Penalty: Any person, firm or association using the areas defined in subsection A of this section in a prohibited manner shall, upon conviction, be guilty of the offense of trespass punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code and as set forth in the municipal bond schedule adopted by the governing body as provided in section 1-11-19 of this code, and each day shall constitute a new and separate offense.    C.   Waiver; Appeal For Waiver Of Penalty: The provisions of subsections A and B of this section may be waived by the city manager or on appeal to the city council at any regular or special meeting in favor of any organized group or association, for such time as specified, not to exceed five (5) days and nights, consecutively.    D.   Presumptive Evidence: Being on the premises of any trailer, tent, or shelter after posted curfew hours in the areas described in subsection A of this section shall constitute presumptive evidence of a violation. (2002 Code § 12.20.060; amd. 2013 Code)
