A. Every person riding a bicycle upon a roadway shall be granted all the rights and shall be subject to all the duties applicable to the driver of any vehicle regulated by this title except as to such regulations which, by their nature, can have no application to bicycles.
B. No person operating any vehicle covered by this chapter shall pass other vehicles between lanes of traffic traveling in the same direction ("lane splitting"). (2013 Code)
