A. Motor vehicles operated in the city shall be equipped with a horn or other suitable signaling device, kept in good working order, capable of emitting sound audible under normal conditions from a distance of not less than two hundred feet (200'), which shall not be sounded except when necessary for traffic signaling or warning. B. Unnecessary sounding of any horn or other motor vehicle signaling device is declared to be an offense and a violation of this section. (2002 Code § 10.24.120)
